Diners do the splitting

  1. Scan the restaurant bill. BillsspliT reads the items.
  2. Mark shared items as shared and choose who is sharing them.
  3. Share the live session by QR code or link.
  4. Diners open it on their own phones and select their items. Allocations update live.
  5. Each diner sees what they owe, including tip.
  6. Diners pay the waiter as normal and mark their part paid.

Your part is simple

When presenting the bill, say:

“Splitting the bill? Tap here.”

Diners can tap the NFC opener or scan its QR code to open BillsspliT. They use their own phones, so there is no need to pass one phone around.

BillsspliT works out the split. Diners still pay you as normal. BillsspliT does not process their payment.
